from behind a hidden name?
On the glowing screen at night,
you erase your presence and release your words—
words that quietly
tear into someone’s heart.
But when the fist you raised
turns into a hand that wipes away tears,
that light
will begin to save you, too.
There will always be people
eager to criticize the world.
But what is the purpose
behind the blame you cast
on someone you’ve never met?
Just one sentence from you
can break someone’s “today.”
You never wished
to cause that kind of sorrow, did you?
If the fist you lifted
could become a hand you extend instead,
the world would surely
grow just a little kinder.
Before you hurt someone,
just once—
please pause and look within.
Do the words you are about to release
bring tears to someone’s eyes?
