Words can cut like a blade
Tearing deep into the heart
Leaving countless wounds
No one else can ever see
But sometimes the words we send
Turn into light for someone
In the quiet before dawn
A gentle hand reaches out
And everything begins to change
I don’t need to be right
I don’t need to look perfect
The sounds that move a heart
Are not always beautiful
And that’s okay
Words can wound and words can heal
Break apart or lift someone up
So I weave them once again
Toward the hidden place inside you
If just one breath reaches through
That alone is why I write
Any language is enough
Even if the sounds don’t match
If my trembling feelings
Reach you somehow, that’s enough
In the middle of a mapless world
Someone holding the same pain
Needs something beside them
To lift their face and walk ahead
I want to be that presence
Some nights the words don’t reach
Still I refuse to stop writing
Even a tiny spark of feeling
Can light tomorrow’s way
Words can be wings or blades
Scars or feathers when they land
So I fill another page
Hoping to wipe someone’s tears
Breathing through the pain I bear
Sending you a small piece of hope
Answers don’t have to be found
Questions carry us forward
Every silent scream and regret
Still holds a living pulse
Wrapped in every wound
Words are born again
Maybe I’ll hurt someone
But I choose to believe in healing
So tonight I weave my words again
Because words are truly beautiful
May a quiet breeze gently blow
Inside your heart
